Framura is a small seaside resort on the Ligurian coast, especially popular with those who love hiking and exploring trails and woodlands. This is because, walking through Framura, you will realise that the natural beauty of this small village often leaves visitors breathless.

Beginning with Lombard rule, Framura passed from one ruling power to another for many years. As often happened, over the centuries it had to defend itself against numerous attacks by Muslim populations. This explains the presence of three watchtowers and defensive towers along the coast, which can still be seen if you choose to explore Framura on foot.
